Hey all,
I spent a few hours yesterday trying to get the current CVS version of
Turbine+WM installed and working with a co-worker. It turned out to be a
major pain in the rear because a lot of stuff is missing that was in the old
CVS. Such as the example WM templates.
I know that Dave is working on a TDK and that should help alleviate things,
but I'm concerned with the people who are downloading and trying to work
with Turbine right now. Is there some sort of short term solution that we
can come up with? Dave, can you check things into CVS so that others can
help you?
I guess I just feel kind of stuck right now. Lots of great code is going
into Turbine, but it does not feel like we are not keeping our goals clear
enough. We need to be able to break down these larger tasks into smaller
ones so that more people can be getting their hands dirty.
p.s. What do you all think about me making the final logo decision? I think
that if we put it up for a vote, we are all going to go round and round for
a month trying to come up with something. Just to be clear, I think that I'm
leaning towards <http://www.exosci.com/turbine/1.1/fire3.gif> with a
slightly smaller sized glyph.
