It's not like I was ever opposed to opening it up. The SPL is significantly
close to the MPL and I've been trying to release under that for a long
time now. The delay and stumbling block was the ASF's unwillingness to
consider new licenses.
We've debated the SPL too much, so I don't want to go there, but I don't
want people to be under the impression that I ever wanted WM to
continue under a restrictive license.
