Modifying docs with the new xdocs stuff

What's the correct method of updating documentation with the new xdocs
stuff?

Would it be:

1) edit the xml file in the xdocs dir.
2) run build-turbine.sh docs to generate the html
3) check in both xml and html files

Just checking
