Jon, I completely agree with what you are saying... but it also shows me
that you don't understand what I am talking about. Considering I, and many
other people who have asked the same question (and I have seen no solution
posted) have no CVS write access, I was offering a suggestion of how to get
around this problem without rewriting the Document object of ECS. This was
never meant to be a fix and if you go look at my initial post again more
carefully than you did before, I broke it up into 2 parts.
1) suggestions for getting around problems with Turbine if you are like me
and don't have write access so you only have to change the Turbine souce and
not ECS as well
then I put a ---------------------------------------------------
2) things I thought might be a good idea to be changed in Turbine.
There were 4 points, 2 were of the first type and 2 were of the second type.
Please know your facts before being complete rude to someone who is only
trying to help. Don't worry, I won't do it again.

Again, the point here that you are totally missing Joe is that if something
is broken, we should fix it, BUT not by adding a horrible hack to fix it.

That is just irresponsible engineering and isn't tolerated around here.
