The whole point which no one seems to understand is that I only proposed a
fix for people NOT working on turbine. It is a QUICK FIX for getting things
running the way you want them to until the problems get properly fixed at
the source (I know you have other things to do and this might not get fixed
quickly which was the whole reason for the suggestion!). I was NOT
proposing my patches for the people working on Turbine which I have tried to
explain several times and for some reason people don't understand. I was
merely making a suggestion for people like me, who are trying to use Turbine
because they think it is great and has a lot of potential, to fix problems
that they are having until they get fixed properly. Rafal, I really do
appreciate your reply about this because I know that you are trying to help
me to understand (or excuse) Jon's behavior and I thank you for that.

The facts are that you must remember that the developers of Turbine are
volunteers, and they work on it sacrificing therir private free time, or
the time they should spend working on the projects they are paid for.
Response time is not always great, because we have many other things to do,
and we consider it better to have good fixes than fast fixes.
The fixes that you proposed were bad, because you were trying to fix the
outcomes not the reasons of bugs. That's why they were rejected.
