My opinion on this is that we should have a LOT more switches available on tg-admin quickstart with a nice write up showing us what happens. This should include things like changing what parts of the code are enabled by default. For example, an awful lot of code starts off commented out. If we use -s, I think it's safe to say that importing the model should start active. Perhaps if we use -w, widgets and validators start imported, etc. A big selling point of tg is how easy it is to get up and running the first time, but this has been getting worse, not better, with all the new features as not all starting defaults are sensible anymore.
