hi My name is Francisco Gama and i'm here to propose a project. Since i choose TurboGears as platform to build it i created a full description of the project which i'm only sharing (for now) to TG community ( http://blackthorne.planetaclix.pt ).
After some time coding web apps in PHP i finally advanced to my prefered language, Python. But still, i haven't found for python a tool that offered me everything i need to develop web apps using a web interface. All MVC tools i checked only do part of the job.I don't see a good reason for that. I worked for little time in a company using Zope technology. Zope has something like that but it is too heavy and complex. Besides it is not MVC... Some time ago i did a nice approach for this task in PHP using older technologies and requisites. Today i wanted to do the same using modern softwares like TurboGears. This project aims to help web developers and consists on an easy-to- install software that uses a simple web interface to develop web applications. This is a complete development framework based on extending MVC frameworks with all the features that a developer needs. Its power comes from the Integration which is done seamlessly. As you can imagine this is an ambitious project but possible too.
