I've been using mochikit for some time and I really like it. However
ext.js is quickly becoming a superior js library in my opinion and
with the recent 2.0 release it's clearly waaaaaaaay much better than
mochikit. Mochikit is still of course a good base for doing all kinds
of stuff but ext.js has tons of extremely useful ready made
components. In this regard it's a lot like tg, you write a lot less
boiler plate code than with other frameworks.

Since as far as I know tg 2 is not at all finalized maybe it's not too
late to think about if tg should stick to mochikit on the long run or
switch to another library, ext.js for example. I would love to have tg
widgets which are simply wrapping ext.js widgets. Since for just about
anything there exists an ext.js widget wrapping them all would cater
for about 95% of all use cases.

What do others think?
