With a $13B debt load (much of it from Sam Zell's $8.2B leveraged buyout that made the Chicago-based media conglomerate private), the Trib (whose holdings include one of the biggest television station groups) has filed for Chapter 11--the Chicago Cubs, Wrigley Field and presumably the Trib's ownership share of Comcast SportsNet Chicago (roughly equal with the owners of the White Sox, Bulls and Blackhawks) are not included:
