"Benjamin Button"'s over $100M gross.  "Slumdog"'s knocking on the
door of $100M.  The hope is that Oscar hype will make the grosses take
off (mishope in "Nixon/Frost"'s case).

And no comic book movie is ever going to win the Oscar.
