And now the Chief reports (from NY Mag's Vulture blog) that Sarah Haskins is not happy about Fallon's "Target Demo" sketch Monday night, claiming it was a lift of her "Target: Women" bits for Current TV's "Infomania" and viral video everywhere:
http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2009/03/jimmy_fallon_accused_of_idea_t.html The Chief and some of the commenters think she doth protest too much. Speaking of Current, it looks like it's becoming (at least in prime time) more structured than just one "pod" after another, with a nightly show called "Current Tonight," more shows like "Infomania" and even some half-hour and one-hour docs in the mix. I'm assuming that they're up to enough homes to get Nielsen coverage and discovered like MTV did 20 years ago and HLN did earlier this decade that one continuous program just doesn't cut it with advertisers. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
