The advantage Fallon will have is that he'll have the only NY-based
franchise, but I'd expect the competition between Fallon and Letterman
would be non-existant until Fallon finds himself (assuming he does).
Given the choice of an established host or a guy trying to figure out
what his show is, I'd imagine most bookings (other than NBC "stars")
would opt for the former.
