I've been watching the Tonight Show this week. Two days in a row, Conan called for the murder of two people from the series "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here." On last night's show, he stated that he wished the entire cast of the reality show would die from the swine flu. And, yes, he said all of the above in the context of jokes (funny jokes, at that), but I can't help wondering why nobody has asked him to justify trying to be funny during a comedy show. After all, wouldn't a call-to-murder be a less civil action than calling someone a slut? And, on the subject, in order for Palin to truly take offense at being called slutty, she would have to assume Letterman honestly believed she routinely had sex with multiple partners. Does she believe that? -- Kevin M. (RPCV) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV .... Smart (TV) People on Ice!
