If you're going to pick nits on this one, go with the language of the joke. Palin was supposed to be updating her "slutty flight attendant" look (see #2).

He didn't call her slutty. I think the former is less offensive than the latter, FWIW, but I get why some people wouldn't think it much of a difference.
