I also do not miss Madden. I am not a huge Al fan, but he is much more tolerable with football than basketball, and he does not spoil it for me. I like Collins okay - though he has better chemistry with Bob Costas than he does with Michaels., and it would not be a bad move to encourage Al to retire at the end of the year and put Costas on play by play (which would also relieve some of the traffic congestion on the NBC telecast). Aside from last night, they have had some real good games on NBC this year, which I am sure has helped their ratings.
