Eli has been running that play since Tiki Barber was the guy with Eli in the backfield but Madden thought the Giants O reinvented the game. Earlier last season, he was completely wrong about a passing rule that he was completely right about in the 2007 season. The Giants were involved in both games so I remembered the rule. Madden did not. I don't think Collinsworth is any better and I could do a long rant about the disgrace that was the three hour televised promotion of the Dallas Palace, oh I'm sorry, the Giants/Dallas. Did I really need to see Jerry Jones pick his nose? That Giants/Dallas game was the highest rated Sunday night regular season game for NBC since they picked up the package in 2006 so it is working out OK for NBC.
