He says (close transcription) "I am a gay man, and I love pagents. I
am sure that you, Carrie, have great gay friends that have helped you
possibly win. What would you give them as advice if they wanted to get
married"

Clearly he was saying that there are lots of gay men involved in the
agent world, even as a Christian she must know and like many of them,
and if so, how does that affect her celebrated position on gay
marriage. The caller may have been a little snarky, but I thought his
tone was trying to be amiable. In any case, she was taking off her mic
before she even heard the question, which was confusing to me and to
King - but clarified by the report here that someone on King's staff
had promised her that no calls would be taken.

Why would they even bother booking her if questions about the conflict
with the pageant were off limits, and no calls were allowed? Isn't she
famous for having a conflict with the beauty pagent (and maybe for
getting a boob job, taking racy pictures, and, perhaps an auto-erotic
sex tape? Did she expect King to ask her about the Public Option, or
strategy in Afghanistan?
