New FCC, old school...pro-PBS.  However, you are right about localism, so
the next year+ of debate over the NBC sale should interesting.

By the way, here in Nebraska a local FOX affiliate that has been on the air
45 years shut off the power and surrendered their license and public file to
the FCC this month. no fanfare, no psa's, no announcements.  i fully expect
a second one to do the same no later than june of next year.  localism ain't
gonna mean squat in 10 years (at least in the over-the-air world)
