now that this is out, i can confirm this is what the affiliates were told
this morning, but that both shows would be 1/2 hour.

these events have been occurring due to the terrible evening news ratings
across the board for the affiliates.

right now, the affiliates are still not happy...primarily because Fallon has
not been canceled yet.
