I'd much prefer an in-canon follow-up to "Torchwood: Children of Earth," the best thing that's come out of the concept so far. (Worth a look if only for a phenomenal performance by Peter Capaldi, who, if there was any justice, would get a supporting-actor Oscar nom this year for his work in the underrated political satire "In the Loop.")
