I guess what'd be interesting is how many people *didn't* watch one of the
channels the telethon was carried on compared with an average week. In other
words - did more or fewer people watch than usual.

(Incidentally, in case you're interested, all the MTV channels took the show
live as well as CNN International. But since it aired at 1.00am UK time,
that's no great story. It was aired in primetime by most of the MTV channels
on Saturday evening.)
