I just finished watching the pilot and it felt like a bad (typical) episode of "I Love Lucy" where you know the truth is going to come out and you're left with that sinking feeling in your gut until it does. To me, the more interesting angle is not a con man on the verge of developing a conscience but just after he has, using his skills to help others -- sort of like "Burn Notice" without as many explosions. The series may be working towards that, but there will undoubtedly be too many moments when Ricky finds out what Lucy and Ethel are up to (so to speak), and that just sort of drama doesn't resonate with me. -- Kevin M.
