This may be that we were not familiar with the Chicago area, so felt we had
no choice but to stand in a hellishly long line at the nearest station for
that Red Line (our car was parked back near the Navy Pier). At AT&T we know
the area very well, and I almost never take the Muni right in front of the
Park - we just walk the mile and a half or so to the BART station. I have
never not been able to get on the first train north.

The point is the same - I believe that if we could objectively measure this,
we would find that Dodger fans to arrive later than average, but do not
leave later than other fans, who tend to leave early in most parks around
the country. I think Giant fans are less likely to leave early than most
fans (in no small part because, regardless of the score, there are few nicer
places to be than 24 Willie Mays Plaza, looking out at the Bay with a cool
breeze in your face, and a field of dreams at your feet.
