Since we are into this theme, in Greece there is a similar late night
show that is broadcasted once a week (Thrusdays). The presenter is a
successful magazine owner, albeit failed TV host who once tried to
host "Apprentice" but copped out due to disappointing ratings.

The host makes an entrance by high-fiving the lead singer of the music
band (who perform on play-back, alas!) and takes his seat behind a
desk. He then tries to tell a couple of jokes that are poorly written
and/or executed. The audience (around 50) who consist mainly of people
working on the TV station and/or one of the host's magazines applaud
in a distractingly inconsistent way.

The guests are 2-3 TV presenters, singers or actors who sit on a
something-like-a-throne and try vigorously to look cool.
