If Poker After Dark has lasted this long, there must be an audience. If Full Tilt goes away, some surviving poker site will probably be willing to pick up the sponsorship, or NBC will just have to sell harder to non-poker advertisers. > (My interest began with them because they sponsor an hour of poker on NBC > every night. If Full Tilt goes down, they may be forced to air old eps of > The Cape or Heroes in the slot.) They'd be more likely to add Tonight reruns ahead of the Late Night reruns that currently follow Poker After Dark. >> I saw that ad too... There was a 60 Minutes piece on online poker a while back. The sites have two addresses: a .net where the only money involved is imaginary, and a .com where real money is bet (and the site takes a percentage of the pots). The ads are for the .net sites, which presumably don't violate any laws. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
