While some of what you say is true, I have not found any specific connection between the care centers and hospital apart from simply providing a convenience. The hospital is a community leader in many respects, and does not need to rely on specific connections to other providers to maintain that leadership.
Meanwhile, the caseworker and care center rep conducted their meetings separately, and it was Mom who asked me to 'go take a walk.' Still, I don't expect there to be any great obstacle to communicating with the care center people when needed. There will, of course, be times when Dad and/or my three brothers can't be reached, and I have a wireless phone now. The greatest thing I feel needs to be impressed upon them, is that Mom is often confused and doesn't remember the right words to say. (Examples: Her older sister has either a grandniece or granddaughter named Trinity, but in part of a conversation Mom called her Tyranny. And, she confused a letter from another health-care system in NJ, seeking contributions, with one in the same day's mail from our 'Blue') -- BOB -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
