Yeah, normally if I'm watching a book adaptation I like to read the
book first, but I got tickets to the screening on Thursday and had a
packed weekend. I might grab the book one day at a used bookstore and
see if it tickles my fancy.

If they were any more understated, it would have been hard to tell
there was a movie going on and that it wasn't just stock footage of
offices, pubs, and hotel rooms across Europe.

As with anything like this, I'm sure sequels will depend on box office
and Oscar buzz. But because of the understated -- to borrow your word
-- acting style, I don't think best actor is a likely win.
