One of my biggest gripes with FOX (as well as cable news > stations) is their propensity to repeat information everyone knows (and to > show the same replays over and over again) just to fill time. In general, > I found NBC's presentation of the Super Bowl to be clean & professional, > without the abundance of crowd shots at inappropriate times and/or football > playing robots. > I agree with you about NBC's production, which is consistent with their quality all season, head and shoulders above both Fox and CBS. I did not need 12 more minutes of filler, but I did so much want to see an interview with the losing coach. It felt like Belichick manipulated his way out of having to face the music. His eventual post game interview was him being his usual asshole self, but I think it would have been harder to get away with (or the assholitry would have been even more obvious) had he been interviewed individually by NBC. And I am quite certain that, at least by Sunday at 3:00 (PT) "The Voice" was scheduled to start at 7:30, and the post-game was scheduled to go up to 7:30, so I am still not sure what happened there. I did record The Voice, so I guess it missed the first 10 minutes (I won't lose too much sleep over that). I already deleted the Super Bowl itself, so I don't have the first 10 minutes of The Voice at the end of the game. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
