It is becoming an effective means of increasing brand awareness and individual marketing. UFC would not have a lucrative deal with Fox, FoxSports, and FX had they not been live on UStream fir the last few years. Between streaming video and bootleg recordings, MMA now ranks above traditional boxing in popularity. Maher's Twitter feed, HuffPo articles, and "Overtime" segments of his HBO series have made him better-than-average in terms of having a strong online footprint. That said, I am less of a fan of Maher than I was because his content is more preachy than funny. I notice on Real Time and last night's special that he laughs a lot at his own jokes. That never sits well with me. -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
