I watched the first few minutes of the pilot episode of Veep. It had a very 30 Rock vibe to it, and the record stands on how I feel about that show. What most annoyed me, since the show was filmed with one camera instead of a live audience, the beats/pauses after jokes were too pronounced... they waited too long for home viewers to laugh, and I wasn't finding it funny enough to justify the wait.
