And it should be pointed out that Hopper is only on HD boxes and is only available for the Big 4 broadcast network prime time programming. Also, the Dish subscriber has to approve that they want to use the Hopper service.
Right now, the only other major broadcast/cable/satellite dispute that hasn't been mentioned here is between Cablevision and Tribune Broadcasting, which has kept Trib stations and WGN America off of Cablevision systems for well over a month now (WPIX NY, WTIC/WCCT Hartford, WPHL Philadelphia, KWGN Denver). WPIX's ratings seem to be affected the most, which has carried over to The CW and Ricki Lake's new talk show for 20th Television, which is on WPIX in NY instead of the Fox stations (the Lake show changed showrunners after only three weeks on the air, probably indicating other problems besides ratings). And since WTIC is a Fox affil, there is the unavailability of Giants games most Sundays on Cablevision's CT systems.
