DC's NYRE was on in the background where I was. Seacrest was Seacrest, with
as little as that implies. But to me the worst element of the show was
Jenny McCarthy, who should not be allowed to speak... ever. That said as
the countdown began, without me prompting them, a group of people at the
party -- a group who did not know me nor my history with Clark, began
mumbling/slurring the countdown the way Clark did those painful last few
years. It was tasteless and inappropriate, and funny. In the end, for a
generation, that will be Clark's legacy, and he chose to allow that.
