Olbermann has been pretty heavy with the venue issues, as have some of the
four-letter network talking head programs.  Keith has also gotten into the
matter of the dogs, and occasionally refers to the anti-gay law (or at least
the stupid statements said related to it).  He may be avoiding some of the
other political matters because that would have been something he'd do for his
previous employers.

Speaking of one of his previous employers, I'm assuming MSNBC has been
relatively silent for obvious conflict of interest reasons.  But I'd be
surprised if outlets on the other end of the spectrum are ignoring these
stories.

It does strike me as extra weird that with Costas addressing some of these
issues during NBC coverage, that some of what NBC cut from the opening
ceremonies would be the anti-discrimination portions of an IOC official's
remarks.

The rest of my viewing will be hit or miss; with a right-wing-radio listener in
the family, it's hard to ignore the stuff he finds elsewhere online about
Russian politics, the less-than-ideal conditions of non-competition areas, et
al.
