>After discovering this when I started following the EPL, here is my proposal >on how to do this: > >1. All games start at 3:00 PM ET. >2. Fox and CBS each get to hold one game. >3. NBC, ESPN, and NFLN each get one game from the remaining 14. The usual >rules on games on ESPN & NFLN in local networks apply. >4. The remaining 11 games are regionalized on Fox and CBS as per a usual >weekend. After a little thinking, I modified your plan a little: We’ll assume that CBS would continue their March Madness partnership with Turner, and that ABC would be grandfathered in to the ESPN package. All games would start at 6:30 ET on Sunday. Since all games are within their divisions, it’s eight per conference. CBS-TBS-TNT-truTV would get 1st-3rd-5th-7th AFC pick of games, while Fox-FS1-FX-FS2 would get the same level NFC picks. NBC-NBCSN-USA-CNBC and ABC-ESPN-ESPN2-NFLN would get 2nd-4th-6th-8th picks, alternating conferences each year. (Of course, NFLN could muscle their way up to sixth.) A local CW, MyNetwork, or independent station would simulcast cable-game coverage, with the option of swapping out a Big Four network game. _ _ |_>|_> Brad Beam- Belle WV |_>|_> http://www.facebook.com/74bmw -- -- TV or Not TV ....
