I think it has been a while since there were any fresh UK episodes of Kitchen Nightmares. I get the feeling that Ramsay put more into it in the UK version - repeatedly visiting the restaurant etc. But that takes time, and UK runs are traditionally much shorter. And I've no doubt the Fox version was much more profitable!
The last thing I saw him do in the UK was play for a period of time in a charity footb... soccer match. Ramsay keeps himself fit and regularly runs marathons. Then there's the whole profitable business of running a lot of restaurants. Although he seems to have perhaps overextended himself from time to time, I think it's still a large part of what he does.
