When I allowed myself to be a regular news viewer, I tried to get my news from as wide a variety of sources as possible. Germany's DW, RT, and the BBC, as well as PBS, were given as much airplay on my laptop screen or TV as any of the others. During the height of the Occupy movement, I think RT gave it a fairer shake than any standard news operation in the US, and if the US media lent its muscle to the cause the way RT did, it might not have fizzled out. I'm not excusing what RT is, but in their own way, some of RT's former employees were able to tell stories that ABC, CBS, ABC, Fox, CNN, and MSNBC would never touch. > -- > -- > TV or Not TV ....
