Two-week-old episodes as reruns are already a very common occurrence.  And have 
been for a while.

Given the way late night seems to be going, I wouldn't be shocked to see a 
two-week-old episode as a rerun.

 

What surprises me a bit, now that I think about it, is that CBS didn't use this 
opportunity to have Dave go dark for a couple nights and air Corden in his 
"regular" time slot (+/- whatever delay there is due to sports) with a local 
news lead in. It seems like a better option than a new episode at 1:30 on 
Saturday morning or rerunning after three days.
