A large proportion of high profile journalists were working in their
organizations in 2003 and they remember the buildup to the Iraq War. The
Trump administration has not yet tried anything as audacious as the Powell
appearance at the UN or the Judith Miller story but the news media know
there will be a high price to pay for gullibility. It's nice to see that
Pelley is ahead of the pack.

I did not see anything about CBS News becoming more profitable or even
getting higher ratings recently. I just want to note if that does get
reported a factor will be the closing of news bureaus around the world and
cutting back on resources.
