Have to agree. When Dave was dark on Fridays, the alleged excuse was that they used the time to tape material outside of the studio. (That it was more that Dave just couldn't be bothered to work five days is beside the point ... ) Colbert doing this just strikes me a lazy. Of course, Myers does it, too, but at least Late Night admits the whole show is a rerun. I'll be interested to see if they do five new shows a week during sweeps or keep this up.
