I think the controversy is just a convenient excuse to get rid of her because of her poor ratings although I don't know what kind of feedback NBC News execs are getting from employees. Trying to look at a bigger picture we learn two things: bringing Megyn Kelly from Fox News was supposed to be a way to bring FNC viewers to the Today Show. They never came so their loyalty is to the channel, not the stars. And people from Fox News have become toxic to the rest of the media. It's no surprise to see a senior correspondent from CBS News move over to CNN.
