Alex's system was that he had, basically, a printout of all the clues on the 
board on one large sheet of paper, and he would use a marker or grease pencil 
to cross out each clue after it was used. (If I recall correctly, if you go to 
a taping, you can see one of these used sheets on display in the studio lobby.) 
 I'd obviously be interested to know which guest host couldn't handle that.
