I had a similar problem with limits. You could be jammed and the positioner will consider it at a limit when the reed switch stops seeing motion. Also, In the motor bracket is a couple switches that a wheel with a bump depresses when it reaches physical limit. The bumpy wheel is adjusted with a screw or 2. If those screws are loose then the wheel will move and set false limits. I had to carefully bypass this function and set the screws by running from one limit to the other using a 12 volt battery. This is not for those non- electrically and mechanically inclined. I have also found inexpensive spare actuators on EBAY. Eric
