Subject: [TVRO] More advice needed on actuator arm

Hello, Wise Ones!

I am in need of more advice. I replaced my HTS70 with a 4D because
my actuator arm was not receiving enough voltage to move it. As I
was installing the 4D, the dish moved to its limit and now appears to
be stuck. The limits on the 4D are very close for some reason. East
is at 4000 and West is at 4080. When I try to move it West, it says
the dish limit has been reached. It was suggested that I try
to "fool" the 4D by reversing the actuator wires on the back of the
unit. That has not worked either because the message then comes up
that the limit cannot be greater than the other limit.

The arm appears to be fully extended and when trying to move it with
the 4D it is not moving. Is there a way to get the dish to move
using the receiver or am I better off simply unscrewing the dish and
moving it manually? I've called for a tech to come out that works on
BUDs, but he hasn't been able to get here in the past three weeks.

Any advice for the technically challenged?

Thanks!
