Mike Kohl's segment, at times, were taped apart from the show he was on, by listening dishheads, primarily because of his hardcore TVRO-info nature. Gary might have been reading newspapers, or Dean might have been playing music, But, when it came to Mike Kohl, people considered it his show segment a sort of show in a show.
Mike has put a lot of labor into helping dishheads. I don't really think Mike is going to make any sales doing this, it is more an act of waving the flag so that people know he's still in there, plugging away, helping people. I don't know how things are going sales wise. Maybe that is changing? I know T & D have decided to take a few weeks off in an attempt to reorganize their radio station into something that pays its bills while still being a non-profit. But then again, the 300 bucks that has to be coughed up. I assume if the dealers don't get sales then the audience better crack open the checkbook.
