Comcast here in Houston does an analog feed of around 80 or so 
stations. All of these have a digital counterpart if you have a 
digital set top box or the DVR. After 2012 (in 3 years) everybody 
that is on analog will need to rent a box from the cable company for 
each TV they want to use on the cable service. Oh & something else 
about Comcast. If you have a new set with a digital tuner & have the 
tuner scan for all analog & digital channels you will only be able to 
watch the analog ones. Every digital channel is scrambled.......
