Hi Sandeep,
I agree with John.. HP is bad! I had a very bad experience with HP laptop...
support is pathetic.. my laptops' motherboard was replaced twice (less than 6
months from time of purchase) and every time it went for replacement (it was
under warranty)..they took 15 - 20 days to deliver the updated laptop.
I strongly suggest not to go for HP or Compaq laptops.
I would suggest you opt for Dell Vostro 1310 .. I bought this 2 months back ..
Its perfectly compatible with linux.. mine is dual boot with Fedora 9 installed.
Dell Support is too good.. no other brand can match the kind of support Dell
can provide (they are renowned for this all over the world)
