This should not be a problem, in the GUI mode you can use 'Add-Remove' or
'Synaptic'[*System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager*]

If you want to install through command-line .. you can use 'apt-get' (try
googling to know more about this).

This is an interesting area!
Network simulators are used to assess how a computer network would perform
under different conditions [various parameters like load,route,number of
intermediate devices like routers etc).

It can be hardware (embedded with a simulator software ) or a pure software
which can be simulated
