Hi Raghu,

   U could refer to a book called Linux in a Nutshell, O'reilly publication.
   That book has an alphabetic detailed desciption of all the Linux commands in 
detail.It can come in handy. Dont try to read all the commands from there, use 
it as and when u need.
   In the first few pages they have categorised a few very necessary and 
commonly used commands. Thats will serve as a good start.
    As you advance u can get back to it whenever u need, I believe the e-book 
will be easily available.
