I agree with Brian. The tools exist to access Unidata from WIndows apps. I am using the older COM library to access Unidata form Lotus Domino apps. And even though there is no PHP Data Object yet, it is possible to access Unidata from PHP using Uniobjects from Windows or Linux web servers. And why is Windows access a big issue anyway? Our Unidata is Linux based. Our Domino is Linux based. As we move more of our apps to web apps and web accessible Notes databases, we are using less and less Windows. In some cases we are deploying Linux based browsers and use no Windows at all. It is less costly, requires WAY less maintenance, and is more reliable.
