We upgraded from 10.1 to 10.3.6 a few days ago. The stability appeared to be rock solid.
But for us, there was never a question of "stability", it was a question of having to re-catalog several dozen subs. Because we had an OS problem, we did not do an "upgrade" we did a fresh install.
